Fountains Night Show at Versailles
Every Saturday at nightfall throughout the summer, the gardens and groves of the Palace of Versailles come to life. After the Royal Serenade, a musical stroll through the King’s apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, wander among the paths of the palace gardens. Explore the groves, then enjoy the play of fountains and water features with enchanting lighting effects and music.
Children and adults will be thrilled at the sight of the Colonnade Grove illuminated by fluorescent green lasers, the Encelade grove with its misty atmosphere, and the Salle de Bal grove, with cascades that reflect flames. The Tapis Vert (a vast expanse of lawn) ‘bursts into jets of flames’. The evening ends with a fireworks display, magnificently orchestrated with music from the time of Louis XIV, in front of the Grand Canal.
The Palace de Versailles is a 45 min with the metro from the hotel Le Bellechasse Saint-Germain.
